The loss marked the fifth straight setback for LSU (29-26 overall, 9-20 SEC), which is locked into the 14th seed heading into next week’s SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala. Florida (36-18, 17-12) has won three straight games and improved to 13-5 on the road in 2026 heading into Saturday’s series finale (3 pm ET, SEC Network+).
