ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills Defensive End Greg Rousseau threw the first pitch at ESL Ballpark on Thursday as the Rochester Red Wings faced the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.
Rousseau was promoting his upcoming charity softball game at the ballpark, benefiting the Rousseau Family Foundation. The event is set for June 7.
“When god blesses you and puts you in a position where you can give back, I feel like it’s good to take the opportunity to use your resources and try and do the right thing when you do have a platform, and you do have the resources, like I said, to give back. I feel like it’s just the right thing to do,” said Rousseau.
The Red Wings lost to the Iron Pigs 6-3. The team is 2-1 in the series with three more home games remaining.
The next game is Friday at 6:45 p.m.
