Blackburn explained, “Be a great example for your family, for your daughters, for your granddaughters, and other women. And show how you can purposefully and intentionally lead and have an impact on your community and your state and your country.” While Katie Britt added, “I certainly want to be that, um, kind of sort of model for my daughter, but I also want to be it for my son too. And I think it’s important for them to see women who are working to make it work.”
