ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Rochester is getting a rebrand. The change involves a new name, updated logo, refreshed photography, and stronger messaging.
Starting Wednesday, the non-profit will be known as Ronald McDonald House Rochester, N.Y. It might have a new look, but its mission hasn’t changed.
“Our mission has always been at the heart of everything we do,” said JoAnne Ryan, RN, MHA, President & CEO. “This rebrand allows us to tell that story more clearly and continue to grow the support that makes our work possible.”
RMHC focuses on helping high-risk pregnant mothers, as well as children and young adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, complex cardiac or gastrointestinal cases, and more.
The house on Westmoreland Drive gives families a place to stay and free meals while their children receive care at Golisano Children’s Hospital. The organization reportedly saved families more than $2.6 million in lodging and meal costs.
