Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE Review: The New Benchmark for Competitive Speed? ...Middle East

Sport by : (Inside sport) -

We put the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE through high-stakes competitive gameplay and intensive testing to evaluate its performance. After spending time with this flagship, I wanted to see if its “SUPERSTRIKE” technology truly offers a LAN like experience on a wireless setup.

Now, we know that on-paper specifications of a product are one thing, but they still don’t give you a picture unless you test it yourself. So, for this purpose, I decided to test it across titles like Valorant, CS2, and League of Legends to see if it lives up to a gamer’s expectations.

Design And Feel Analysis: Lightweight Precision

The first thing you want to know about any mouse before purchasing is how it feels when you hold it. Based on the SUPERLIGHT 2 design, it weighs in at just 61g. Inside the box, you get the mouse, an extension dock for your dongle, a Type-C cable, a pouch, extra grips, and extra PTFE attachments.

The Weight: At 61g, it feels incredibly fluid for fast flicks. Especially when I tried playing VALORANT with it, I noticed that because of its light weight, it provides enough for rapid micro-adjustments, and If you are a gamer, then you know how important smooth aim adjustments are. Build Quality: The mouse maintains a sleek, professional aesthetic in its Lunar Eclipse color variant. Mine was black and white, which complemented my PC setup. The Shape: It features a symmetrical design that fits most grip styles comfortably, though with 5 buttons, normally side buttons are for manual “back.” But yes, you have the option to customize the buttons as per your needs. Also, after completing around 3 hours of long ranked matches in VALORANT, I quickly adapted to its shape and felt almost no strain on my palm.

Design and Feel Rating: 9.0/10

Gaming Performance

The most unique feature of the SuperStrike lies within the clicks themselves. Contrary to all other gaming mice that use mechanical and optical switches, Logitech has come up with an innovative Haptic Inductive Trigger Switch (HITS) technology, employing a copper coil and a haptic motor for its operation, like Hall Effect keyboards.

From my very first test run, I observed how smooth and uniform the clicking experience was throughout the whole button area. There being no mechanical buttons under the button surface ensures a uniform clicking sensation, no matter where you hit the mouse. Not to mention, this comes with customization, in case you want firmer clicks.

Furthermore, Logitech G603 includes Rapid Trigger technology that allows resetting clicks as soon as you begin lifting your finger from the mouse. This technology has proven useful in actual games, where the consecutive clicking speed felt much higher.

Behind all the scenes, SuperStrike uses state-of-the-art technology, the Hero 2 Sensor. This mouse can give a mind-blowing rate of wireless polling of 8000Hz, resulting in ultra-low latency of 0.125ms. It also supports up to 44,000 DPI and an impressive speed of 888 IPS.

Interestingly, such flawless tracking also became a reason for a wrongful ban of one Apex Legends player due to a mistake on the server side that thought he used an aimbot. Along with 88G acceleration, spin-outs are no longer an issue.

Gaming Performance Rating: 9.5/10

Battery Life and Practicality

One of the most impressive feats is the battery performance. Despite the advanced haptic and inductive sensing technology, the mouse lasts up to 90 hours in constant motion.

This eliminates the frequent need for charging cables, removing barriers between the player and the game.

For those who want to deep-dive into customization, the G HUB software is required to fine-tune the click travel and advanced sensor settings.

Battery and Features Rating: 8.5/10

Value for Money Angle

At INR 23,995, the G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is clearly an investment for serious players. In the Indian market, this price point puts it at the very top of the premium segment. However, you aren’t just paying for a brand name; you are paying for patent-pending technology that no other brand currently offers.

For the professional or aspiring competitive gamer, the combination of a 61g weight, 8 kHz polling, and fully customizable click actuation provides a genuine competitive edge. It’s not just an incremental update; it’s a tool designed to help you win.

Value for Money Angle: 8.0/10

OVERALL RATING – 8.8/10

Pros:

SUPERSTRIKE Tech: Genuinely faster, customizable click latency. Extreme Precision: HERO 2 sensor with 44k DPI and 888 IPS. Ultra-Lightweight: 61g design for maximum fluidity. Pro-Grade Wireless: 8 kHz LIGHTSPEED report rate.

Cons:

Premium Pricing: Significant investment at INR 23,995. Software Reliance: Full customization requires G HUB. Limited Buttons: 5-button layout may be too minimalist for some MMO/Macro users.
