ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is in custody after Rochester Police say he threw bleach on officers who were responding to a family trouble call on Tuesday.
Officers say they responded to the home on Selye Terrace off Lake Avenue just before 10 a.m. after a woman called for help. RPD says that’s when a man in his 20s threw bleach on the officers.
Three officers were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, and RPD says none of them appear to be injured. Police say they’re still investigating, and charges against the suspect are still being determined. Check back for updates.
