BCCI has informed that the head of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru has breached IPL’s Code of Conduct. During the 18th over of the match, Andy Flower was spotted in an animated chat with the fourth umpire, outside the playing area. Some of the words used by Flower were caught on mic. Because of using foul words against the fourth umpire, the RCB head coach, Dins Guily, and he admitted his offense as well.
IPL issues an official statement on the incident involving the RCB head coach
“Andy was found to have breached article 2.3 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct, which relates to 'use of an audible obscenity during a match.” The incident occurred in 17.2 when Andy spoke aggressively with the fourth umpire. Andy admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction imposed by Match Referee, Amit Sharma,” it added further.
