Local cyclists signed in at the corner of Elmwood and South Plymouth avenues before mounting lights to their bikes for a 10-mile glow ride across the city. Organizers said biking is a great way to see the city in a new light.
“You get to see things in your neighborhood, you get to meet people, you know, you see the businesses you pass by, curiosity takes hold, you get off, you go and visit that,” said Cody Donahue, co-executive director of Reconnect Rochester.
“Rochester’s really great because there’s so many places you can get to in 20 minutes by your bike,” Donahue said.
Bike events are scheduled every day through Sunday, May 17.
