The Disney planner didn’t charge us anything when it came to booking our hotel rooms, figuring out which days to go to which parks, scheduling dining reservations, and dealing with all of the small nitty-gritty details. This is because the planners get paid from Disney themselves–simply because it saves Disney from having to answer questions and walk people through booking their trips themselves. By using Disney planners, it’s a win for Disney World to have less volume of inquiries, and it offers a money-making opportunity for people who are pros at knowing all things Disney vacations.

View this post on InstagramOur Disney planner asked us to submit our top three restaurant choices for each day, and she was ready the day that the booking window opened to get them all booked for us. One thing that my family didn’t know was that if you are staying on Disney property, you can actually book reservations for your entire stay starting at 60 days before your very first day booked at one of the resorts. So, 60 days before the start of our vacation, our planner had booked every single reservation for us for the entirety of the week. And the best part? She snagged our top choices for every single day of the trip.
They Have Insider-Knowledge That Most People Don’t Have
Since Disney planners are constantly booking things day in and day out, they know a lot more than your average Disney fan. Our planner was able to help guide us and make decisions that ultimately made our Disney trip much more enjoyable.

For example, we really wanted to be able to book both the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for my five-year-old niece, and book a dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table on our day in Magic Kingdom. Both of these are difficult reservations to snag, but our planner had our back. We originally were planning to go to Magic Kingdom on the first Monday of our vacation, but since we had these big reservation goals, our planner suggested we move our Magic Kingdom visit to the Wednesday of that week. This is because she has found that Wednesdays tend to be less-crowded in Magic Kingdom–giving us a better chance at snagging both of those reservations.

They Can Organize Your Full Itinerary For You Each Day
A week before the trip, we were able to see our first three rides booked for each day in the park. As I mentioned before, we did pay our planner extra to book our Lightning Lanes for us, and I do think it was worth it. They knew exactly which rides would be useful to get a Lightning Lane for based on the history of the standby times. They also helped us with strategy. For example, the Philharmagic is one of our favorite things to do in the Magic Kingdom. However, it’s not really an attraction that has a long standby line during this time of year, so it wouldn’t be useful to get a Lightning Lane for it. Instead, we used our Lightning Lane on a more popular ride that tended to have longer standby lines.

We used Hannah from Disney With The Littles for our Disney vacation planning, and I couldn’t recommend her more. You can find her on social media at @Disneywiththelittles or her website, disneywiththelittles.com.
