A man is in critical condition after he was pulled from Lake Michigan near Chicago’s 49th Street Beach on Tuesday evening, authorities said.
Around 7:50 p.m., authorities responded to the 4900 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive near Chicago’s East Hyde Park neighborhood for a report of a man in the water.
The unidentified man was then pulled from the water by the Chicago Police Department’s Marine Unit, authorities said.
He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
