CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A dog is up for adoption after the Ontario County Humane Society says her last owner tried to abandon her in a Geneva park.
They say Vincent Wozlonis, 46, abandoned the dog at the Geneva Bark Park around 1:40 p.m. on April 21.
Wozlonis reportedly told police he abandoned the Pitbull mix, named Jasmine, because he’s not allowed to have pets in his apartment.
Wozlonis was charged with animal abandonment and released on an appearance ticket.
