PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Looking to get rid of a bike? The Pittsford Rotary Club will be hosting its annual Bike Drop this weekend at Pittsford Mendon High School.
People can bring any old or unused bikes in any condition. The club says the bikes will be donated to R Community Bikes, which repairs and gives out bikes free of charge to Rochester’s children and adults in need.
At the same time, people can also donate to the monthly Drive-Thru Food Drive at the same location. The club is hosting the food drive at Mendon High School for May only, and will return to Sutherland High School in June.
Rotarians and students from the Interact Club will be collecting the donated bikes for R Community Bikes, and food items for the Pittsford Food Cupboard.
The bike drop and food drive will take place Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. To learn more, click here.
