St. Charles are investigating after a man’s body was found floating in the Fox River Wednesday.

According to police, the department received a report just after 9 a.m. of an unresponsive man floating in the water in the 200 block of North 2nd Street.

Police conducted an initial investigation and the Kane County Coroner’s office was notified and transported the body for further investigation and identification.
