ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Increasing clouds Tuesday morning with a few showers around midday. As you are out and about don’t be surprised by some raindrops but most of today will be dry. Gusty winds over 30 to 40 mph into early afternoon. Mild again with temps into the 60s. Generally fair weather tonight into Wednesday morning. Rain will arrive around midday on Wednesday and last into the evening hours. It will also turn much cooler as temperatures drop into the 40s later in the day. Another soaking rain is likely with amounts between a half an inch to an inch likely. At this time Threat Tracker will stay Green as no widespread flooding is expected. Creeks and streams will run high and some low lying areas may see minor flooding. Rain will taper off Wednesday night
After the rainy weather Wednesday, a cool pattern will develop into the weekend and next week. Temperatures will be well below normal in the 40s and 50s during the day and 30s at night with some frosty mornings possible.
