Rochester entered the playoffs as the fifth, and final, seed in the North Division, and on a five-game losing streak, clinching a postseason berth on the final day of the regular season. The Marlies took game one, 5-0, before Rochester handled them in game two, 4-0. In the decisive game three, Toronto went up in the first and never trailed despite a stellar 35-save performance from Devon Levi and a pair of goals from Konsta Helenius and Olivier Nadeau.

Rochester ended the regular season with 72 points in 72 games in Michael Leone’s second year at the helm.
