PITTSBURGH, PA (WHEC) – The Joe Brady era is here and the Buffalo Bills weren’t messing around, trading all over the draft, getting extra picks, and selecting 10 players total between rounds 2 and 7.
Of course, the Bills started their draft by selecting edge rusher TJ Parker (Clemson) with the 35th overall pick on Friday.
“I really can’t wait to be embedded in more and for the fans to know who I am,” said Parker.
While Parker was Buffalo’s top pick, he wasn’t their only one. Here’s who else the Bills drafted over the weekend:
35th overall: TJ Parker, Edge, Clemson 62nd overall: Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State 102nd overall: Jude Bowry, OT, Boston College 125th overall: Skyler Bell, WR, UConn 126th overall: Kaleb Elarms-Orr, LB, TCU 167th overall: Jalon Kilgore, S, South Carolina 181st overall: Zane Durant, DT, Penn State 220th pick: Toriano Pride Jr., CB, Missouri 239th pick: Tommy Doman, P, Florida 241st pick: Ar’maj Reed-Adams, OG, Texas A&MAnd needless to say, all of the players are excited to join a winning franchise.
“I cried. I cried a lot,” said Bowry. “I worked toward this goal and I just know it’s just the beginning and I’m happy the Buffalo Bills took a chance on me.”
Of course, the NFL Draft is really just the beginning, and the next step is OTAs, which get started in May.
Training Camp will once again be in Rochester, from late July to early August.
