ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Ready Rochester held its second annual “Bowling 4 Stars” fundraiser on Friday.
Supporters and staff from several area schools gathered for a night of bowling, refreshments and donating. Last year, “Bowling 4 Stars” raised more than $25,000, and organizers say this year has gone even better.
“Which really underscores the community’s overall commitment and promise for educators here in Rochester,” said Shanai Lee, executive director of READY.
Friday night’s proceeds benefit the “Ready Teaching Academy,” which supports public and charter schools across the Rochester area.
