ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A special milestone for Abbott’s Frozen Custard. Its Lake Avenue location in Charlotte is celebrating its 100th season.

The summer-time staple was founded back in 1902, and opened it’s iconic beach location in 1926. The Lake Avenue stand opened for the 2026 season on March 18.

A special celebration is set for Friday, July 17. We’ll pass along the details as soon as we get them.
