Darrell Sheets' 'Storage Wars' Rival Claims He Was Bullied Before Death ...Middle East

News by : (Us magazine) -

Darrell Sheets’ rival from Storage Wars, Rene Nezhoda, claimed that the late reality star was bullied online before his death.

“This is not an easy video to shoot. Unfortunately, Darrell Sheets took his own life. So he passed away,” Nezhoda said in a video obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, April 22. “I know a lot of you guys think we hated each other because we competed a lot on the show.”

Nezhoda continued, “We had our moments, we had our run-ins but that’s because we were both competitors … we’re the biggest threats out there. So deep down, me and Darrell were friends.”

Nezhoda shared that he and Sheets “talked every now and then.” He remembered his costar as “a very hard worker that cared more than anyone.”

In addition to paying tribute to his late friend, Nezhoda claimed that Streets was a victim of cyberbullying.

“I know Darrell would want something positive out of this. He had a guy really tormenting him lately on cyberbullying,” he said in the clip. “Just cause you watch us on television doesn’t mean you know us … it doesn’t mean you know what we’re about. Also it doesn’t entitle you to bully somebody.”

Nezhoda added that no one has the right to bully anyone — whether they’re a public figure or not.

“You shouldn’t cyberbully at all. As a matter of fact. If you have somebody in your life that thinks its fun to cyberbully other people, maybe a celebrity athlete or a little girl or school or schoolmate, slap [them] in the back of the head,” he said. “Make them become a better human being, because you never know what demons somebody faces and what they go through and what you might push them through.”

Us Weekly confirmed that Sheets died on Wednesday due to an apparent suicide. He was 67.
