Nordquist was a transgender man tortured and killed last year in Ontario County. News10NBC learned on Wednesday that the jury trial date for Precious Arzuaga is set for Aug. 31.
Three of the seven defendants in the case were in court on Wednesday. The appearance focused on legal motions and scheduling.
Prosecutors say the defendants tortured Nordquist to death last year inside a room at Patty’s Lodge in Hopewell. All seven suspects face first-degree murder charges.
