ROCHESTER, N.Y. – After several weeks of highly changeable weather, it appears we can enjoy some “uneventful” weather this week. However, we do have a few small meteorological issues this in the coming days.
Tonight, a weak cold front will cross the area and produce more clouds with the chance of few rain showers. The greatest likelihood of a rain showers will be mainly south of Rochester, and it is possible that communities north of the New York State Thruway could remain dry. It will not be as chilly as last night as the low temperature will only fall into the middle 40s.
On Wednesday, any morning clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. The high temperature will be in the upper 50s to nearly 60 degrees. However, it will be cooler near Lake Ontario due to a developing lake breeze.
Thursday and Friday should bring more sunshine with the temperature again, pushing 60 degrees. The first chance of rain will be Saturday with a few showers possible.
