Mint follows 22-year-old Shannon, the daughter of a powerful local crime boss, as she searches for romance in the shadow of her father, Dylan.
Shannon falls hard for Arran, a member of a rival crime family who has newly arrived in town, and their intense first romance quickly spirals into obsession.
But as their relationship deepens, tensions rise. Their love story presents an undeniable connection that changes both of their lives for good, but not everyone in their lives sees it the same way.
While the couple navigate their forbidden romance, elsewhere things implode for Shannon’s family.
Early in the series, Dylan decides to step down as the head of the family, while Sam, his second in command, fills in to take over.
But his diverging tactics start to raise alarm across the series.
And in the wake of Dylan’s decision, instead of focusing on crime and succession politics, viewers are swept into the distinct emotional worlds of Shannon’s family – her parents, Dylan and Cat, her older brother Luke and her indomitable grandma Ollie.
