According to Deadline, the veteran actor could be set to play the role of Christopher Dent, who is the father of iconic comic book character Harvey Dent/Two Face.
Harvey himself is being played by Oscar nominee and MCU stalwart Sebastian Stan, while the role of his wife has gone to Scarlet Johansson – so it looks set to be a very starry incarnation of the Dent family.
Meanwhile, Zoë Kravitz will not be reprising her role as Selina Kyle/Catwoman from the last outing.

The Batman Part II is writer/director Matt Reeves's follow-up to his own critically acclaimed film – which was released more than four years ago in March 2022 – with fans having had to be patient for updates about the sequel.
