2026 NHL Mock Draft: Postseason Begins Full 2-Round Edition ...Middle East

Sport by : (Bleacher Nation) -

With the 2025-26 regular season in the books and the playoffs about to begin, it’s time to run an updated two-round 2026 NHL Mock Draft!

The intrigue with the draft this year will begin at the top — both because there are multiple players who can make a strong case to be selected first overall, but also with the news that the owners of the No. 1 pick, the Vancouver Canucks, will have a new general manager making their selection.

The order in the top half of our mock draft can be set — for now. With the playoffs now set, we know which teams will take part in the 2026 NHL Draft Lottery on May 5. When that happens, we can set a final order for 1-16 (before the trades begin). We’ll have to wait until someone raises the Stanley Cup to finalize the first 31 selections.

Again, a reminder of the first-round draft order: the NHL gave the Ottawa Senators a pick — but it has to be 32nd overall, and they can’t trade up. They had previously forfeited the pick because of the botched Evgenii Dadonov trade to the Vegas Golden Knights in July 2021.

Here’s our updated full two-round 2026 NHL Mock Draft! Let’s go!
