Poland 9, Springfield 3 — Carmine Tukalo had three hits, including a triple and a pair of doubles, driving in a pair of runs for Poland. Joe Zuccaro added four hits, including a pair of doubles and drove in a run. Grady Pitzulo struck out 11 in six innings for the Bulldogs. Noah Troggio and Cooper Ensley had a hit and RBI each for Springfield.
South Range 9, Austintown Fitch 0 — Stanley Magielski led South Range with two hits and two RBIs. Pymatuning Valley 9, Mathews 5 (8 Inn.) — A. Wludyga led the Pymatuning Valley with four hits and J. Britton picked up the win, pitching seven innings and striking out eight for the Lakers. Caleb Nicula drove in the tying run for Mathews in the seventh inning, but Pymatuning Valley pulled away with four runs in the 8th inning.
Struthers 17, Mineral Ridge 0 — Struthers scored eight first inning runs and a win was never in doubt after that. Manny Perez led the Wildcats with three hits and two RBIs. Drew Chizmar drove in three runs with two hits, while Jordan Becker and Travis McMurray added a pair of hits each. McMurray and Anthony Torreance also had two RBIs each for the Wildcats. Becker struck out six in three innings to get the win at pitcher.
Canfield 12, St. Charles 4 — Michael Maszczak led Canfield with four hits and four RBIs including a pair of doubles. Logan Patellis and Patrick Groner combined for five hits and an RBI each, with Groner notching three hits. Matthew Campbell, Jaden Wurst, Jackson Johnson and EJ Economous had a hit and RBI each for the Cardinals. Yates had two hits and an RBI for St. Charles.
Cardinal Mooney 11, West Branch 0 — Johnny Brenner led Mooney with three RBIs and two hits, including a triple. Taco Verocco added a double and three RBIs. Ford Stacy struck out eight batters in four innings for the Cardinals and added a hit and two RBIs at the plate.

Canfield 9, South Range 5 — Leah Figueroa led Canfield with three hits, including a home run and four RBI’s, surpassing 100 runs batted in for her career. Jenna Triveri added three hits and rounded the bases twice to score two runs. Lily Rich added two hits and two RBI’s and Sophia Payne and Brooke O’Palick had a pair of hits each for the Cardinals. Kitt Testa also drove in a pair of runs with a double. S. DeJesus led South Range with two hits, including a home run and two RBIs. H. Bartels added a home run of her own and two RBIs for the Raiders.
Girard 5, Columbiana 1 — Each team had 10 hits each, but Girard was able to get their base runners home. Chloe Plant led the Indians with two hits, including a double and two RBIs. Quinn Wilster added two hits and an RBI and Gabby Doran had a pair of hits. Reagan Bell had two hits and an RBI to lead Columbiana. Natalie Barrow and Ella Eisenbraun added a pair of hits each for the Clippers.
Lakeview 8, Hubbard 2 — Kalyssa Werner led the Lakeview offense with four hits, including a pair of doubles and two base hits. Werner drove in two runs. Isabella Isenberg was dominant in the circle for the Bulldogs, striking out 10. Rylee Barnot was also a contributor for Lakeview with three hits and two RBIs. Layla Songer homered and had another hit for Hubbard and drove in two runs.
Maplewood 13, Garrettsville Garfield 1 — Addison Marker had three hits, including a home run and double and an RBI to lead Maplewood offensively. In the circle Marker and Lexi Yannucci combined to allow one hit and strike out 10, with Marker notching four strikeouts. Yannucci also had a hit and two RBI’s on offense. Lexi McKinstry led Mooney with three hits. Davies struck out nine batters for Ursuline in 7.1 innings. O’Leary had two hits and an RBI for the Irish.

Boardman 23, Poland 5 — Boardman picked up its first win of the season, led by Luke DeJoseph who scored a school record 11 goals. Mikey Montgomery tied the school record for faceoffs with 21. Chase Zelesnak would have a big night as well, scoring six goals and assisting on three more. The remaining Spartan goals were scored by Montgomery, CJ Rice, Liam Moore, Kyle Congson, Ryan Smith and Tanner Dravecky.
