A robotics company has issued a cheeky apology after one of their robots crashed into a Chicago Transit Authority bus stop last month.
It was one of two delivery robots that drove into bus stops in separate incidents, smashing through the glass of the shelters. Thankfully, nobody was hurt in either incident.
Serve, the parent company of one of the robots, said at the time, they were working to make improvements.
New video of the scene at Grand and Racine avenues showed the robot has since issued an apology through the form of an ad.
It reads, “I took ‘breaking into the market’ too literally. I’m really sorry about the bus stop .. and the dramatic entrance. I promise to do better.”
