LaBrae 16, Niles 2 — LaBrae (5-0) remained unbeaten with a strong offensive performance. Eric Reibold, Austin Rowe, Landon Brunstetter and John Kincade had two hits and two RBI’s each for the Vikings. Kincade also struck out five in three innings pitched. Brian Parsons led Niles with two hits and an RBI.
Brookfield 12, Chalker 2 — Devin Reardon doubled twice and had a single, driving in three runs for Brookfield. Joe Hook added two hits and three RBI’s for the Warriors. Josh Rankin and Bray Coleman added a pair of hits each with Rankin driving in a run. On the bump, Blake Hammond struck out nine for the Warriors and drove in a run on offense.
Maplewood 2, Heartland Christian 0 — Maplewood needed just two runs to secure a win, thanks to a no hit performance from starting pitcher Josh Suba. Suba struck out seven and walked four batters. Suba also drove in a run, while Kenyan Clover led the offense with two hits.

Columbiana 10, Salem 7 — Beckett Wilson led Columbiana with three hits and two RBI’s and Sam Imoboden added two hits and two RBI’s. Avery Young had two hits and struck out seven for the Clippers. Bairon Exline led Salem with two hits and two RBI’s. Braydon Van Dyne and Jaxson Douglas had a hit and RBI each and Marshall Boron dorve in two runs with a hit and struck out four for the Quakers.

LaBrae 18, Garrettsville Garfield 0 — Riley Rowe doubled twice while driving in two runs and striking out nine for LaBrae. Mackenzie Lichty had three hits and three RBI’s and Morgan Thompson added three hits and an RBI fir the Vikings. Shelby Bragg, Mariah Jones, Leah DeArmitt, Isabella Michael and Madison Johnson had two hits each. DeArmitt drove in four runs.
Hubbard 13, Struthers 1 — Haleigh Taylor struck out 11 for Hubbard. Taylor also came up big on offense, belting a home run and driving in two runs. Izzie Slifka added three hits and three RBI’s and Layla Songer added two hits and drove in three runs for the Eagles.
Howland 12, West Branch 10 — Maya Kubancsek had two hits and two RBI’s to power Howland in an offensive slugfest. Makenna Perry and Brooklyn VanNess added a hit and RBI each and Ella Newbrough had two hits including a double for the Tigers. Elly Biskup led West Branch with three hits and four RBI’s. Zoey Carreon had a triple and a double, driving in a pair of runs for the Warriors.
Ursuline 10, St. Joseph Academy 0 — Emma Davies had three hits and an RBI to lead Ursuline. Davies also got the start at pitcher, striking out 10 and allowing just one hit. Mary Moy also had three hits and an RBI for the Irish. Alice Stroney and Lila Jones combined for two hits and three RBI’s with Stroney driving in two runs.
Loyola Academy (IL) 19, Poland 8 — Cassie Blanch led the game off with a three RBI triple to give Poland a 3-0 lead. Loyola answered in the bottom of the first with six runs and never gave the lead back. Ali Blinsky had two hits and two RBI’s for Poland and Leanna Boccieri had two hits and an RBI.
BOYS LACROSSE
Brecksville-Broadview Heights 8, Boardman 4 — Boardman trailed just 2-1 at halftime, but Brecksville pulled away in the third quarter, scoring four goals. Luke DeJoseph had two goals for Boardman, both of which were assisted by Chase Zelesnak. Tanner Dravecky also had a pair of goals and Lane Schubert made 11 saves in goal.
