ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A local business teamed up with a nonprofit for a food and clothing drive to support people in need.
High End New York partnered with Nourish the City for the drive Thursday night. People met at the store on Alexander Street and South Clinton Avenue to donate canned goods and clothes.
“Looking to give back to the community. Hand out food, clothes to people that needs it. Connecting the cannabis brand with, the consumer,” Frederick Massey of High End New York said.
Organizers wanted to show that businesses of all kinds can have a positive impact on the community. Nourish the City collected essential items to distribute to those who need them most.
“Socks, prepackaged snacks, food cans, clothing, hygiene items especially. Yeah, anything like that,” Karoline Foley of Nourish the City said.
The drive brought the community together to make a difference for neighbors facing hardship.
