ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Today we will see some clearing in the sky before they become mostly cloudy again by midday, then a front will pass over and bring some rain showers starting around 3pm and lasting through 7pm. Another round of showers is possible at 10pm. Ahead of the front temperatures will rise to the upper 50s/low 60s near Rochester, and upper 60s/low 70s near the Finger Lakes. After the front passes, everyone will cool down into the 40s.
Saturday will be cooler behind the front with highs almost reaching 50, but it will be much much sunnier. Sunday sees warmth and cloudiness return, with afternoon/evening showers also making a comeback. The overall pattern for next week features a persistent boundary bringing rain but also warmth.
