Our Chicago Bulls unfortunately (I guess?) beat the Washington Wizards on the road by double digits for the second time this week, in a weird tank-off clash.
Leading by as many as 13 points in the first quarter, Chicago headed into the second frame still up big, 32-24.

The Wizards answered the Bulls’ aggressive interior play with consistent paint scoring of their own.
To sustain any kind of offensive momentum, the Bulls looked to attack Angel Reese’s little brother Julian, who racked up a whopping four personal fouls through two quarters.
Ultimately, a 27-20 Wizards scoring edge in the second frame brought them back into the action. Chicago led by a point, 52-51, at the break. Leonard Miller paced Chicago with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Sexton, Jones Help Bulls Outlast Wizards in Third Quarter
Geoff Burke-Imagn ImagesThe injury-depleted Bulls lost yet another vet mid-game, when starting center Guerschon Yabusele departed for the visitors’ locker room with a shoulder injury in the third quarter and was quickly ruled out for the night.
With or without their pint-sized five man, the Bulls pulled away for good with a 35-23 third period. Washington never threatened them again. Third quarter scoring explosions from the Bulls’ starting backcourt of Tre Jones (12 points) and Collin Sexton (13 points) helped put the Wizards away for good.
When the dust had settled, Chicago closed the Wizards out with a 119-108 victory.
Jones’ downhill aggression proved decisive for the Bulls. He got to the line for 12 free throw takes, all of which he converted. He finished with 31 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the floor (1-of-3 shooting from deep), plus six rebounds, three dishes and a steal. He also registered a Bulls-best +19 for his efforts.
The star of the night, though, might have been forward Leonard Miller, who had earned a frontcourt start next to Yabusele and (ugh) Patrick Williams.

— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) April 10, 2026The 22-year-old finished with a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double, while also logging three dimes, one steal and a block.
The tanking Bulls improved to a 31-49 record on the year, tying them with the Milwaukee Bucks for the ninth-worst record in the league. Hopefully, Chicago can register another loss on Friday, against the play-in-bound Orlando Magic.
