ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say four people are hospitalized, two with serious injuries, after a car crashed into a pole at the corner of Lake Avenue and Keehl Street on Wednesday.
The crash happened just after 5 a.m. Charges are pending after police say they found a loaded “ghost gun”, a self-assembled gun that’s often unregistered, in the car.
Officers say they found the car, a Toyota Highlander, with heavy damage and facing the wrong way on Lake Avenue. One passenger, a 53-year-old woman, is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Another passenger, a 36-year-old man, has potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police also say a child, 2, who was in the backseat, has non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 28-year-old woman, also has non-life-threatening injuries.
