Us Weekly confirmed in April 2026 that the “Irresistible” singer is dating a Nashville-based musician named Thomas Eisenhood.
The romance comes more than one year after Simpson announced her split from Johnson in January 2025.
“Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” she told Us in a statement at the time. “Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”

Thomas Eisenhood is a musician with “varied experience” in music production and operations, according to his LinkedIn. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Psychology in 2015.
