Czirjak is a Virginia commit for this fall and had a previous best time 2:11.37 that she set back at the 2024 edition of Y-Nationals. She swam a 2:12.47 in the event a year ago and had been as fast as 2:13.57 this season.

YMCA of Metro Milwaukee’s Maggie Dickinson kicked off the session with a 1:53.43 in the 200 backstroke, only 0.03 off her lifetime best that she swam to win the event here a year ago. She won the event in dominant fashion, winning by over four seconds.

Dickinson also helped YMCA of Metro Milwaukee to a win in the girls 200 medley to conclude the session as she teamed up alongside Lauren Komassa, Aibhy King, and Anne Dickinson as they swam to a 1:40.52. Maggie led off in a 24.50, faster than her 24.52 that she swam on the lead off leg a year ago.

King earned her own individual win on the night as well, touching in a 53.27 in the 100 fly. That was a best time by 0.78 seconds as the 16 year old and Georgia Tech commit entered with a best time of a 54.05 that she swam to win the event a year ago.

The boys 200 backstroke came down to the wire as James Sorensen won in a 1:45.69, touching just ahead of Kenneth McGlothen who touched in a 1:45.98. Sorensen was 0.23 off his best time while McGlothern dropped 0.23 off his lifetime best 1:46.21.

Minnesota commit Dawson Walters swam to a win in the 100 fly as he touched in a 46.89. That was a 0.30 second drop from his previous best 47.19 that he swam at Winter Juniors back in December. He has dropped a second and a half in the event in the last year as he entered this season with a best time of a 48.36. Top seeded Jimmy Beeson was 3rd in a 47.03.

Beeson went on to help Greater Spartanburg YMCA to a win in the 200 medley relay as he swam a 20.99 fly split. Also on the relay were Maddex Ternes, Owen Harmon, and Levi Smith. They touched in a 1:29.14, 0.30 ahead of Greater Somerset County YMCA who was 2nd in a 1;29.44.

William Rees, a West Chester commit, dropped 1.28s from his entry time in the 200 breast to win in a 1:57.34. He had never been under 2:00 prior to this season as his best coming into the fall was a 2:01.58 that he swam at Y-Nationals a year ago. The final individual win of the night went to Pierce Hampleman who swam the boys para 200 back in a 2:19.52.
