STAFFORD, N.Y. — Firefighters responded to a house fire on Morganville Road in Stafford Monday afternoon.
Three people and a dog escaped without injury. Crews arrived to find flames starting in a bathroom.
Investigators say the fire may be tied to construction work, but the exact cause is still under review. With limited volunteers available during the day, additional units from Orleans County were called in to help.
