Israeli forces arrested two civilians from Rafid (in southern Quneitra countryside, southern Syria) on Tuesday, March 24, after a military convoy of more than ten vehicles advanced into the area and remained there for several hours.
The Quneitra Media Directorate said the arrest took place near Tal al-Durayat, in the vicinity of Rafid.
An Enab Baladi correspondent said the Israeli army arrested Khaled al-Fahd, 45, and Mohammad al-Fahd, 24, in the village of Rasm al-Za’roura near Rafid in southern Quneitra, while they were grazing sheep.
In a related field development, Israeli forces also advanced on Tuesday toward Ofania (in northern Quneitra countryside, southern Syria).
The forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the quarries area in Ain al-Bayda village, on the road linking Jubata al-Khashab and Ofania, while five other military vehicles carried out a patrol around the town and village before withdrawing from the area.

An Enab Baladi correspondent said the Israeli army arrested Alaa al-Ghazali, from Qarfa village in Daraa countryside, while releasing four others after several hours and confiscating their motorcycles near al-Mantara dam, close to an Israeli military base.
The correspondent added that the arrest was preceded by an incursion and a search campaign targeting several homes in Al-Samdaniyah al-Gharbiya village, adjacent to the dam.
