Crimson Desert doesn't approach fast travel like your average game, where you can just tap a button to go to any settlement you've already been to.
How to fast travel in Crimson Desert: Abyss Nexus explained
In order to fast travel in Crimson Desert, you first have to unlock the corresponding Abyss Nexus or Abyss Cresset you want to travel to.
There's one just to the north of Hernand Castle, which is probably one of the earliest Abyss Nexuses you'll stumble across.
To activate it, simply step onto the pedestal and it will light up beneath your feet.
Once you've got an Abyss Nexus or Abyss Cresset activated, you can fast travel to it at any time by opening up your map, hovering over it and pressing Y/Triangle.
How to find Abyss Nexuses in Crimson Desert: Mysterious Energy explained
If you check your map, you'll often find areas labelled with "Mysterious Energy". These will appear as circles with a question mark in the centre.
Of course, sometimes you may come across an area of Mysterious Energy that is home to a different secret, so don't be too disappointed if you can't find a new fast travel point.
