“I think we’re in a different spot this year,” head coach Kalen DeBoer said. “We’d love to get out there and have some fun, practice and get better, scrimmage, that’s kind of the expectation we have for that day.”
While it is unclear whether the event will return to its traditional format, it appears there will be a scrimmage element to the event.
“The annual Walk of Fame ceremony at Denny Chimes, honoring the 2025 captains, will still take place prior to the scrimmage, as will the Walk of Champions,” UA Athletics said in a statement.
This will give fans insight into the quarterback battle, plus a first look at transfer additions and the true freshmen at a much more affordable family cost than a regular-season game, free.
