2026 Wyoming High School Activities Association Boys 4A Swimming and Diving Championships
Feb. 19-20, 2026 Cheyenne, WY SCY (25 yards) ResultsThe number 13 certainly was lucky for Cheyenne Central at the Wyoming High School Activities Association Boys 4A Swimming and Diving Championships.
Cheyenne Central snapped a 13-year title drought by winning its 13th title in school history, prevailing by 14 points over runner-up and defending champion Laramie.
Central only won two events, but showcased its depth to return to the top of the state.
Junior Chris Hager led the way for Central with 2nd-place finishes in both the 200 IM (1:57.93) and the 100 back (personal best 53.52).
Hager also split 47.45 on the anchor leg of Central’s 400 free relay team, which won with a time of 3:17.26. Other team members were Ian Whitesell (50.49), Bryce Bentley (49.03) and Evan Bott (49.99).
The other victory for Central came from sophomore Brady Benne, who won the 1-meter diving event with 466.60 points.
There were three multi-event winners in the meet:, Sheridan senior Ben Forsythe, and Campbell County juniors Cy Gallion and Brady Hunt.
Forsythe won his third straight title in two events, once again reigning in the 50 free (personal best 20.28) and the 100 breast (56.54).
Gallion repeated as champion in the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.83, and then won his third straight title in the 500 free, touching the wall with a time of 4:51.94.
Hunt won the 200 free in 1:46.56 and then repeated as champion in the 100 fly with a time of 52.40. Hunt didn’t swim in the 100 back after winning that title the last two years.
Other winners were:
Green River won the 200 medley relay in 1:40.47 behind the team of Sam Dockter (24.51), Mitchell Horn (28.12), Aiden Neher (24.75) and Colin Lee (23.09). Rock Springs senior Koen Asper, an Iowa Central Community College commit, won the 100 free in a personal best of 46.76. Evanston won the 200 free relay in 1:29.46 behind the team of Hyrum Bell (22.28), Eldon Hogman (22.72), Max Iron (22.42) and Jacob Olson (22.04). Riverton junior Alex Jordan claimed the 100 back in a personal best time of 52.60 after finishing 2nd last year.Team Standings — Top 5
