ALBANY, N.Y. — Gov. Kathy Hochul expressed concerns about the Department of Homeland Security’s decision to reassign staff from the World Trade Center Health Program to other federal agencies, including ICE.

The World Trade Center Health Program supports 9/11 first responders by monitoring their health and providing treatment for related conditions. Hochul said the program’s workforce has been reduced by more than 25 percent.
