Gracie Abrams and actor Paul Mescal made their second red carpet appearance as a couple at Sunday night’s (March 15) 98th annual Academy Awards and they could not have done it in more glamorous fashion.
Abrams celebrated the occasion with a photo post on Monday night (March 16) that opened with a romantic selfie of Mescal (Hamnet), 30, laying a kiss on her cheek while standing behind the 26-year-old singer as she smiled, holding her phone in one hand and a glass of champagne in the other while wearing a two-piece, midriff-baring outfit. The caption said it all: “Love love love.”
The other shots in the roll captured Abrams walking the red carpet outside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood wearing the sequined Chanel two-piece outfit with a long gauzy scarf, as well as the couple posing together on the carpet. Though Mescal and Abrams were first reported to be a couple in 2024 when they were photographed grabbing dinner in London, they have kept their relationship relatively under the radar until recently. Last month, Abrams made a rare public comment about Mescal when she celebrated his 30th birthday with a post in which they smiled cheek to cheek and lips to lips.

Mescal is currently preparing for his role as a young Paul McCartney in director Sam Mendes’ upcoming four-part Beatles biopic project, The Beatles — a Four-Film Cinematic Event, due out in April 2028. Abrams, daughter of director J.J. Abrams, is about to make her acting debut in A24’s upcoming movie Please, directed by Halina Reijn (Bodies Bodies Bodies).
