1. White Sox – Roch Cholowsky

Shortstop – UCLA (Bats R, Throws R)

Roch Cholowsky is the top-rated prospect in the class, and the shortstop is drawing comparisons to Troy Tulowitzki. He’s extremely talented, and scouts are thinking he has the potential to develop four plus tools. The dude can flat-out hit. He smashed 23 homers last season and has already hit 10 through 19 games this year. Cholowsky has an advanced approach at the plate and always seems to find the barrel.

2. Rays – Grady Emerson

Shortstop – Fort Worth Christian HS (Bats L, Throws R)

Grady Emerson has standout skills and tools that show off some serious potential. He’s got a great frame (6’2″) and a smooth lefty stroke at the plate. He also finds a way to put together a quality at bat, and his strength could develop into a 25+ homer guy in the bigs. Emerson is a fluid defender with a great arm, which means he should be able to stay at shortstop as he moves up the ranks.

3. Twins – Justin Lebron

Shortstop – Alabama (Bats R, Throws R)

At the college level, Roch Cholowsky is getting plenty of buzz at shortstop, but Justin Lebron is making plenty of noise at Alabama. He has smashed 9 homers this season in 21 games, showing off well-above-average power. His arm is great, and he can make every throw, plus he has a quick first step. His approach at the plate is improving as he is chasing fewer pitches out of the zone.

4. Giants – Jackson Flora

Right-Handed Pitcher – UC Santa Barbara

Jackson Flora can run it up to triple digits and has been absolutely dominant this spring. He is 5-0 wth a 1.15 ERA. Flora has struck out 39 in 31.1 innings. Flora has size (6’5″) and is a solid strike thrower. He could easily be the first pitcher taken in the draft thanks to an elite fastball as well as multiple sliders.

5. Pirates – Derek Curiel

Outfielder – LSU (Bats L, Throws L)

LSU saw Derek Curiel dominate the NCAA Tournament last season as he hit .390 during the postseason. He gets a lot of comparisons to Christian Yelich as a lean left-handed hitter and fringe power. His fluid stroke can smack the ball to all fields, and his speed helps him track balls easily in the outfield. Curiel is hitting .329 in 21 games with 27 hits and 6 doubles.

6. Royals – Ace Reese

Third Baseman – Mississippi State (Bats L, Throws R)

The Royals could snag Reese at No. 6, and the third baseman is an offensive machine at Mississippi State. He hit .352 last season with 21 homers and 66 RBIs. This year, he is off to a .370 start with 6 ohmers in 20 games and an OPS of 1.169. Reese’s plus power is a big draw, and his lefty swing can handle both lefties and righties easily at the plate.

7. Orioles – Carson Bolemon

Left-Handed Pitcher – Southside Christian HS

Carson Bolemon is an electric high school prospect who has seen his fastball run up to 96 miles per hour. On top of that, he can command either side of the plate. Also, scouts rate his pair of breaking balls on the plus side. He’s committed to Wake Forest and is considered the best high school pitching prospect in the 2026 class.

8. Athletics – Cameron Flukey

Right-Handed Pitcher – Coastal Carolina

Cameron Flukey is one of the best college arms in this year’s class, as he has a fastball that runs up to 98 miles per hour while maintaining mid-90s. There is some armside run to his fastball, which helps him get tons of swings and misses. At 6’6″, he could add more power to his nasty stuff as he adds some bulk. Flukey has been out for a couple of weeks, thanks to a stress reaction in his rib cage. It will be interesting to see what he can do when he returns.

9. Braves – Drew Burress

Outfielder – Georgia Tech

Scouts love Drew Burress’ versatility, as the Georgia Tech outfielder has solid tools across the board. His swing is compact and has plenty of power. He smashed 19 homers last season and has 5 this year in 20 games. His approach is disciplined as he walked 53 times in 2025 compared to 42 strikeouts. This season, the ratio is 16 to 15 so far. A great athlete with a good baseball IQ, scouts see him as one of the first outfielders taken.

10. Rockies – Vahn Lackey

Catcher – Georgia Tech (Bats R, Throws R)

There aren’t many college players who have had the start that Vahn Lackey has. The dude is smashing at the plate. He’s hitting .479 with 9 homers in 20 games. Lackey makes consistent contact and can drive the ball to all fields. An athletic catcher, he can really run once he gets going. Also, his arm is great, and scouts see him becoming a solid receiver with time.
