Braff says, "When I was younger, there was no one calling me hot. And I was very insecure about how I was going to make it in Hollywood." He remembers very clearly stacking himself against the other guys in Hollywood. "I would go on these auditions and I would sit in the waiting room, and I would look at all of these beautiful men who were hot. I don't look like that. And that made me very insecure."
