ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Humane Society of Greater Rochester is investigating after Humane Law Enforcement officers found a dog dead in a dumpster.
Humane Society officers were dispatched to Maryland Street at around 11 a.m. on March 13 for reports of a dead or injured animal. When officers got there, investigators say they found a dead dog in a dumpster.
After securing the scene and investigating further, investigators say they recovered the dog and seized another dog.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lollypop Farm’s cruelty hotline at 585-223-6500 as the investigation continues.
