Mrs. Sue Ray Morgan age 83 of Lebanon passed away March 13, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Born in Smith County, TN, November 24, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Nelson Ray and Eva Lena Croslin Ray. She worked as a waitress for many years before becoming a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Bobby Greer Jr.; three brothers: James “Jim” Ray, Paul and Robert Ray; seven sisters: Janie Warren, Betty Jo Wilson, Fay Bowman, Evelyn Dies, Edith Lee Mofield, and Sylvia Crutcher.
She leaves behind two children: Stephen Bryan Morgan, Tonya Daniels; sister, Judy Fisher; brother, George (Kathy) Ray; five grandchildren: Stephanie Stewart, Tiffany Mezo, Audi (Gary) Smith, Shalena Daniels (Michael Castleberry), Heather (Salvador) DeJesus; ten great-grandchildren: Lily Hardison, Alexia Stewart, Landen Castleberry, Samuel Daniels, Lacey Mezo, Shyla Castleberry, Ali Mezo, Micah Smith, Louie and Elias DeJesus.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 3-7 p.m. and Thursday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
