A set of first-look images have been released for the Middlesbrough-based show's second season, which will be released on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer this spring, showing off both the new and returning characters.
Meanwhile, sports broadcasters Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara will both also be making an appearance, and are seen in one of the images alongside returning star Steph McGovern.
Returning cast members for season 2 include the show's creator Phil Dunning, as well as Mark Benton, Alexandra Mardell, Patsy Lowe, Elijah Young, Neil Grainger, Charlotte Riley, Peter McPherson, Lauryn Redding, Michael Mather, Bill Fellows, Michael Hodgson and Michelle Visage.
The official synopsis for the six-part season 2 says: "Picking up where we left off in Middlesbrough, the gang are navigating love, friendship and plenty of drama.
"Along the way there are date nights, coming-out parties, a male beauty pageant and even a football match. Yes, really. Because if there’s one thing you can expect from Smoggie Queens, it’s that much like drag itself, every episode is serving something fresh!"
