WARSAW, N.Y. — A large barn caught fire late Friday night in Warsaw, sending two firefighters for evaluation of exhaustion.
The Warsaw Fire Department said the call came in at approximately 9:37 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found a roughly 250-by-40-foot gable-roof barn and shop fully involved. The structure, used for storage, housed loose items, a milking parlor, straw, and farm equipment.
1st Assistant Chief Josh Crane said the blaze was classified as a four-alarm fire, with 14 fire companies responding and five neighboring departments on standby.
LeRoy Fire Department also assisted, saying smoke conditions were very bad. Take a look at the photos it shared.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
