College basketball predictions: DFS picks for Saturday’s SEC slate (March 7) ...Middle East

News by : (SATURDAY DOWN SOUTH) -

Welcome to the final Saturday of the 2025-26 college basketball regular season.

All 16 SEC teams will be in action today, so there’s plenty of potential value to be found across the slate.

College basketball DFS picks today

Here are 3 SEC picks on Underdog Fantasy for Saturday:

Ole Miss forward Ilias Kamardine higher than 11.5 points

I like Kamardine’s chances to go higher than this projection. The 6-foot-5 Frenchman is averaging 11.3 points per game in SEC play, so this is theoretically right near his average. But Kamardine has had a bigger role down the stretch, taking double-digit shot attempts in each of his last 5 contests. It’s true that Ole Miss has played 2 overtime games over that span, but he’s still seen some increased usage recently. Ole Miss is facing a South Carolina defense that ranks dead last in the SEC in a variety of different metrics, including defensive efficiency, 2-point percentage allowed and block rate. It’s a good matchup for Kamardine to score a dozen or more.

Florida forward Alex Condon lower than 7.5 rebounds

I think this projection is just a bit too high. Condon hasn’t hit 8+ rebounds in a game since Feb. 17. He’s a great rebounder and a huge physical presence, but Florida is just loaded with excellent rebounders. Reuben Chenyelu might be the best rebounder in the country (he leads the nation in defensive rebounding rate). Thomas Haugh and Xaivian Lee are both monster rebounders for their positions. Competition for boards is tough for Condon on his own team, and that’s before talking about the matchup. In this case, the Gators play a Kentucky team that’s top 5 in rebounding rate in the SEC on both ends of the floor.

Auburn forward KeShawn Murphy lower than 12.5 points

KeShawn Murphy is only averaging 11.4 points per game in SEC play, over a full point less than this projection. The small boost in the Underdog projection is almost certainly due to the fact that Auburn is playing a fast-paced Alabama team, which means there will presumably be more possessions in this contest than what Auburn would usually see. That makes some sense, but I just don’t see it for Murphy in this matchup. Here are his point totals over his last 5 games: 7, 25, 4, 2, 9. That’s an average of 9.4 per game, but he only hit 13+ once. In Auburn’s previous matchup against Alabama, Murphy scored 13 points but that required a great shooting day (5-of-8) and a made 3-pointer, which is very rare for Murphy. I’d expect him to be less fortunate — and productive — in the rematch.
