The substance is being tested and “will be part of the arrest,” as insiders familiar with the case told TMZ. The 44-year-old “Toxic” singer, is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.

A representative for the Grammy winner shared in a statement to the Daily News that the situation was “an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable.”
Spears’ rep said that she will “take the right steps and comply with the law,” and “her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for [her] well being.”
TMZ reported earlier Thursday that Spears had gotten a permanent restraining order against a 51-year-old Louisiana man arrested for trespassing at her home last year. That incident followed more than a decade the man, identified as Donald, allegedly spent harassing the “Gimme More” singer online.
