Season ticket packages go on sale Thursday, March 5 at Broadwayinhollywood.com/seasonpackages. The season will unfold like this:

“Water For Elephants”: The musical adaptation of Sara Gruen’s bestselling 2006 novel brings to life a story of romance and intrigue in a Depression-era traveling circus. It was nominated for seven 2024 Tony Awards and runs Sept. 8 to Sept. 27.

“The Outsiders”: Another book adaptation, this one of S.E. Hinton’s classic coming-of-age story of a group of working-class teens on the outside of the popular crowd in late ’60s Tulsa, Oklahoma. With music by the American folk duo Jamestown Revival, it runs from Sept. 30 to Oct. 18.

“The Who’s Tommy”: The theatrical adaptation of the 1969 concept album won a Tony for best original score for the Who’s Pete Townshend, one of five it picked up in 1993. It premiered at the La Jolla Playhouse in 1992 before moving to Broadway a year later. “Tommy” runs from Oct. 27 to Nov. 15.

“Disney’s The Lion King”: It has played Los Angeles before, and it will surely play it again, but that’s how it goes with a musical as warm and life-affirming as “Disney’s The Lion King.” As a special booking, the first chance at tickets goes to season ticket holders starting Thursday, March 5, before any other presales.

“Buena Vista Social Club”: This musical was inspired by the 1997 album of the same name that captured the performances of older Cuban musicians in Havana. The 2023 original Broadway production earned five Tonys, including a special Tony for its live band, and also picked up a Grammy for best musical theater recording. It runs March 9 to March 28, 2027.

“Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical”: The most recent of the season to play Broadway, “Operation Mincemeat” opened there in March 2025. The true-life story of a World War II British deception scheme to hide the Allied invasion of Sicily from the Axis powers, it won the Olivier Award for best new musical for the West End production that preceded its transport to New York City. It plays from March 30 to April 18.

“Maybe Happy Ending”: Winner of the most recent Tony Award for best musical, “Maybe Happy Ending” originated in South Korea, where its story of two humanoid robots exploring the possibility of real feelings first charmed audiences. It runs at the Pantages from May 4 to May 23.

“The Great Gatsby”: The Jazz Age jitterbugs into L.A. with this adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel. It premiered on Broadway in 2024 – remarkable that it took this long for someone to make that happen. It runs from June 1 to June 20.

“Death Becomes Her”: The 1992 movie starred Goldie Hawn, Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis and Isabella Rossellini in a comedy of two women who drink a magic potion in search of eternal youth. If that doesn’t sound like a Hollywood story, well, think again. It plays at the Pantages from July 6 to July 25.

“Hamilton”: Like “Disney’s The Lion King,” “Hamilton” has trod the boards at the Pantages before. But when the show is this lively, entertaining and relevant, of course, it’s gonna keep coming back around. It plays July 28 to Aug. 29. Tickets go on sale for this one on March 29, and like “The Lion King,” priority goes to season ticket holders.
