Adventist Health Ukiah Valley has hired Dr. Tyler Laubach, a family medicine physician who specializes in obstetrics, the health care system recently announced.
A board-certified physician, Laubach provides care and treatment for all ages, including wellness visits, sick visits, preventive care, prenatal care, women’s health, family planning, and surgical obstetrics and deliveries, according to the Feb. 23 press release.
Delivering babies is one of Laubach’s favorite part of the job, according to the announcement.
“It’s such a privilege to be part of that moment for families,” he said. “It never gets old.”
Laubach also treats chronic conditions like diabetes and asthma, high blood pressure and more, according to the announcement.
In addition to patient care, Laubach serves as faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Mendocino County health system.
The dual role allows him to combine clinical care with education, ensuring patients benefit from both experience and innovation, Adventist Health Ukiah Valley stated in the press release.
“Teaching allows me to give back to the system that gave me opportunities to pursue my dream of being a physician,” Laubach stated. “I love working with residents and helping shape the next generation of family medicine doctors who will one day care for this community.”
Laubach is now seeing patients at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley’s medical office, located at 260 Hospital Drive, Suite 204, Ukiah.
